Har Bal Mastering Software As The
It is music that was re done from old tapes for one, and the other music is done for the fun of it.Not for the Look at me and see how great I am purpose you seem to think it is. Because I can't afford the "money is no object" pre-amps and do the best with my $2000 worth of interface and mics somehow means I don't know what I'm talking about? That is stupid.I stayed away from this thread last night as I was a little bit too pissed to even want to reply without insulting you back.If you read the statement he posted you would understand that is not his more professional work that is posted here. If I am doing old timey music or some latin jazz then I want that distance sound, distance as in two overheads and a nice LDC about 10 feet in front of the kit to capture a natural tone. And I'm sorry, but WTF brought on your crappy comments? You have a problem with the website owner commenting in threads? Who cares what the songs in someones profile sound like?Me for instance, I have been doing this for several years now and have a decent knowledge of many aspects to recording, mixing and mastering. Most of the guys here don't use drum replacement software as the music they do would sound ridiculous with it. To me that is what mastering is all about and harbal does a fantastic job of "Harmonic Balancing".Depending on the recording I don't always go for a super pristine over-processed sound like you are going for on this track.
The CD's I have are of the highest quality and are up to your supposed standards. As I am in the same boat and cant post some of my best work here for legal reasons as well I have to make that perfectly clear to you.Back to his paid work. As he stated very clearly, he cannot for legal reasons post them up her for your listening pleasure.
But you are making it difficult for anyone to want to help you by being argumentative and condescending to almost everyone here that has tried to help you.I will continue to give you any advise you ask for, whether you use it or accept it is completely up to you.I suggest you find a better way to communicate, and read someones reply completely and understand it before you make off the wall comments as you did above. You cannot expect to learn to use it overnight, but with the background of years in analog recording you claim to have it should be an easy transition to the digital domain. But I gave you the honest truth on what I hear in it, in a very constructive way.Personal opinion here is that you have spent a good deal of money on gear and software, as you seem to have several thousand dollars worth of software you have listed over the last month or so.
